I grew up in Florida but started visiting Colorado when I was younger and dreamed of moving out west as soon as I could.. After serving in the United States Navy as a SAR Swimmer, I studied Economics at The University of Florida and graduated in 2016. My insurance career began as a college intern in the summer of 2013, and I eventually opened Kolby Zipperer State Farm in Colorado Springs in 2019.

My purpose for pursuing a career in insurance is to protect the people in my community. My team likes to have fun, but at the end of the day we are committed to doing that right thing for you and your family. I chose to move across the country to the great state of Colorado for the same reasons you or your great grandparents did 😊 I love the seasons, the wildlife and the heavy snowfall. I like to backpack through the Rocky Mountains during the summer, fly fishing, everything horses, archery, wildlife conservation, golfing, skiing and helping my friends, family, team members and customers plan for the future.

Not a lot of people know this about me, but I did three tours to the Middle East in less than 4 years. I love my country, and I love Colorado!

Mary has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has been on our team here in Colorado Springs since 2019. Hi, I am McKenzie! I am originally from Kansas City, MO. My family & I have been living in Colorado for the last three years where the military brought us. We officially called Colorado home this year and could not be more ecstatic! I have been in the insurance industry since 2022; not really knowing where this would take me but also knowing insurance was not going anywhere and figured it would be an illustrious career for myself. Which, I can say now, has been one of the greatest choices I have made for myself. I enjoy protecting and informing our customers about their insurance but also having great conversations & building relationships that has always been an important part of my job. My husband & son keep me busy during the week/weekends with all sports these days. We volunteer and teach these young athletes about teamwork, being committed, sportsmanship, self-determination, and having fun! We also enjoy hosting dinner at our home with our close friends. Usually that consists of my husband smoking meat & I will manage the sides! Something not a lot of people know about me is that my husband & I have known each other since we were in middle school and have technically grown up together throughout the years. We love the life we have built. 😊
